Gardner Museum
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in the Fenway, where music has been integral since the BSO played Mozart at the 1903 opening. Sunday classical concerts and Thursday Night Music take place in the cube-shaped Calderwood Hall.
Accessibility
Concerts in Calderwood Hall are in the New Wing, where all four seating levels are wheelchair accessible. The performance level is reachable by the main elevator to the second floor with movable seating. The first balcony is on the third floor; the second and third balconies require the elevator to the fourth floor and a staff-assisted lift. Balcony seating is not recommended for those with vertigo or acrophobia. Contact the box office at 617-278-5156 when reserving for accessible seating, assistive listening devices, or large-print programs.
